The resolution followed the ac- tion taken in Israel by the ex- ecutive committees of the Gen- eral Zionists and Mizrachi pro- testing against the rejection by the Jewish Agency Executive of their request for the 'postpone- ment of elections to the Congress for two months in order to pre- pare a register of voters. The el- ections have been set for June 12. Both parties in Israel have is- sued statements that they will bring the matter before the court of the Zionist Congress. The General Zionists charged that the number of shekolim of- ficially announced as sold by September 1950 .in many areas exceed, by far, the total figure of eligible voters to the -last mu- nicipal electionS. The charge cites the case of Tel • Aviv which shows an excess Of nearly 40,000 shekolim sold over the number of its eligible voters registered for its last municipal elections. * * * LISTENING LOCAL KOSHER CATERERS again are making an attempt to organize • . •.
