$500 first prize in the Michigan
Federation of Labor scholarship
contest with his essay "How
Organized Labor Changed in the
Last Fifty Years." The prize
money is to be applied by Jan
towards furthering his college
education. He is graduating from
Central this month and plans
to enter the University of Michi-
gan.
Ilse Lowy, another Central
senior, won a $600 Radcliffe Col-
lege scholarship.
