Mr. and Mrs. Milton A. Behrendt, of Whitmore Rd., spent a

week in New York City, before attending the triennial convention

of the Free Sons of Israel, held at Totem Lodge, Averill Park,
N. Y. Mr. Behrendt, a delegate of the Montifiore• Detroit Chapter,
attended the convention June 2 to 6.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dunn, of Cherrylawn Ave., left for Dela-
field, Wis., to attend the graduation of their son, Stuart, from M.
John's Military Academy.
Mr. and Mrs. David Sislin and son, Paul, have moved from
Glynn Ct. to their new home at 19508 Griggs.
Mr .and Mrs. A. Kramer, of Cherrylawn Ave., have left for
a visit to Winnipeg, Can.
Mrs. Gerald Goldberg, past president of Avodah Chapter,
Pioneer Women, gave a luncheon recently in honor of the Chap-
ter's outgoing officers.
Debby Waintrup of Steubenville; 0., is visiting with her grand-
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sol Zeme of 3283. Webb, while her parents,
Rabbi and Mrs. Harold B. Waintrup are visiting -in New York and
New London, Conn.
Mr. Leo Michelson, of Collingwood Ave., has as house guests
his daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rosenblatt, of
Minneapolis; and Mrs. Bessie Haber and Mr. and Mrs. Fernand
M. Haber, of Nashville. They are here to attend the confirmation
of his grandson, Jonathon Haber, at Temple Beth El.
Mr. and 'Mrs. Max Weinberg of - West Outer Drive drove to
Glencoe, Ill., this week to visit with their children, Mr. and Mrs.
Seymour Arnoff.

Miss Kassel attended the Uni-
versity of Michigan and the In-
stitute of Chicago art school.
She plans to enter Cranbrook in
the Fall.
Yanich, who received a BA de-
gree from Wayne University,
studied in Israel as a member
of the Jewish Agency's Insti-
tute for Jewish Youth Leaders.
He is presently doing graduate
work at the University of Mich-
igan.
The wedding date has been
set for Sept. 2.
