Mrs. S. B. Danto of Chicago Blvd. was the house guest last
week-end of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Siegel of Grand Rapids, and
delivered the Friday night sermon for "Sisterhood Sabbath." Mrs.
Danto then proceeded to Cadillac, Mich., where she conferred a
"Certificate of Merit" on Mrs. Eunice Malleau, Cadillac's mother
of the year, and then was tendered a joint reception with Mrs.
brialleau.
Mr. and Mrs. David Feinberg of Boston Blvd. are visiting
members of their family in Toronto this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ivan Frankel of Muirland Ave. have re-
turned from a visit to Westwood Hills, Los Angeles.
Rabbi and Mrs. Herbert Parzen of Jersey City are visiting the
immediate members of their family, the Parzens of Calvert Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cohen of Burlinghame Ave. are hosts to
their sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Flesch of
Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Moss of Byron Ave. were in New York
for a week, and returned with their daughter, Margaret, who
finished a semester at the Parsons School of Design.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Simons of Parkside Ave. are hosts to
Mr. and Mrs. Aronson of New York this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Sidder of Fullerton Ave. have returned
from Miami Beach .where they were house guests of Mr. and Mrs.
D. M. Sidder.
Out of town guests here to attend the wedding of Joan Eston
to Milton Shafran last Sunday included Rabbi and Mrs. Abramo-
vitz, Mr, and Mrs. Nathan Boloton, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Rabb, Mr.
and Mrs. George Benjamin, and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Friedman, all
from Sharon, Pa; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dun and Mr. and Mrs. Ray-
mond Pine came from Youngstown, 0. From Cleveland, there
were Mr. and Mrs. Meyer Lurie, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Lurie, and
Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Speer. .A Pittsburgh branch of the family
was represented by Mrs. Dan Smith.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Danto of Boulder, Colo., are here to
visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Rovetch of Oakman
Court and Dr. and Mrs. S. B. Danto of Boston Blvd.
Mrs. Lee Brody, of Warrington Dr., has returned from a week-
end in Boston, Mass., where she attended the graduation exer-
cises of her brother, James, who graduated cum laude from the
Harvard University Medical School.
A reception honoring Manuel Sinkoff upon his graduation
from Michigan State College as a civil engineer will be held at
the family home, 2252 Highland, at 8:30 p.m., June 9. No Cards.

Music Study Club
Sets Luloff v Auditions

Scholarship auditions for piano
only will be conducted on June
9, at 2 p.m., at Women's City
Club, by the Music Study Club,
to select the youthful recipient
of "The 1951-52 Gwladis Luloff
Award."
This scholarship was estab-
lished by the Music Study Club,
through funds set pp by. the rela-
tives and friends of the late
Gwladis Luloff, who was one of
Detroit's outstanding musicians
and teachers.
Miss Luloff, during her life-
time, was an exponent of the art
of clavichord, harpsichord, virgi-
nal and piano.
Scholarship auditions are open
to all talented students of every
race, color and creed between
the ages of 14 to 18. All teachers
in the city area are invited to
send in names of gifted students
interested in the scholarship.
Applications will be mailed upon
request.
Outstanding musicians of the
State of Michigan and Detroit
will serve as judges. For infor-

Newly-elected officers of Pis-
gah Chapter, Bnai Brith, will be
installed at the Lee Plaza Hotel,
at 12:30 p.m., Monday. Mrs.
Marvin Levy is chairman, assist-
ed by Mrs. Ben Pearl, Mrs. Sam
Rosenthal and Mrs. Jack
Schwartz. The following will be
installed:
