New York City this week on the SS Liberty after a six-week tour
of Europe.
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Shwayder of Fairfield Ave., are spend-
ing this week in Martinsville, Ind.
Mrs. Sally Brown of the Lee Crest Apartments visited with her
children, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Heavenrich, and their infant son, -
L ouis, in Wellesley Hills, Mass. She will spend the weekend in
New York - City befOre returning home.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Friedman have returned to their home on
Canterbury Drive after an extended vacation at various resorts,
including Hot Springs, Ark., Palm Beach and Winterhaven, Fla.,
and the Lombardy, Miami Beach. A stop-over with members of
their family in -Cleveland concluded the two months' holiday.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cohane of Highland Ave., are hosts this
week to Edwin Freud of Los Angeles, Calif.
Normand L. Sinaberg spent a weekend with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Abe Sinaberg of Ilene Ave. while being transferred from
Carswell Air Field, Texas, to Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

CBS to Broadcast Israel
Anniversary Tribute Today

In honor of the third anni-
versary of Israel's Independence,
Columbia Broadcasting System
will broadcast a half hour pro-
gram today at 10:30 p.m.,. over
its nation-wide network.
Written by Norman Rosten,
the script, entitled "Years of
Challenge, will be narrated by
Lee J. Cobb, famous star of
stage and screen.
The program is being produced
and directed by Himan Brown.
Jack Shaindlin is composer of
the Music.
