Israel Approaches Trade
Balance With Turkey

Extended Payments Available

5211 Schaefer Road

ISTANBUL (JTA)—Israel had
an unfavorable balance of trade
with Turkey last year. Israel ex-
ported to Turkey less than $250,-
000 worth of goods in 1950, while
it purchased from Turkey over
10 times as much as it sold.
This year the balance of trade
is swinging back in a more fa-
vorable direction. March of this
year was a record month for Is-
'mei trade with Turkey. The
first shipments of Philco refrig- I
erators and Kaiser-Frazer autos
assembled in Israel have arrived,
as well as a variety of other
products.
