Mrs. Myerson, who appears
here April 29 at the Allied
Jewish Campaign Women's
Division G-Day rally, also at
State Fair Grounds, will be
here prior to going to Cleve-
land. To make it -possible for
her to address the Detroit
rally, it will be necessary to
hold it at nooi_ so that she
should be able to reach Cleve-
land before 3 p.m. .
The Center Choral Society,
under the direction of Julius
Chajes, urges all interested to

The group is primarily interest-
ed in furthering Jewish culture
through its music.

have been altogether — seven
Jewish members of the -U.S.
Senate.. The entire list, when

came from were listed in the
Jewish News Aug. 5, 1949, and 1
Nov. 18, 1949.

Omaha Center Burns Mortgage
OMAHA, (JTA)—The Jewish
Community Center of Omaha
celebrated the payment of the
mortgage on its building at a
ceremony at which the docu-
ment Was consigned to the
flames. Originally built in 1926
at a cost of $400,000, the building
had a $145,000 mortgage which
has now been paid off in full.
