J W.V Council Officers Up for Election All the present officers of the - Jewish Community Council will be proposed for re-election by a nominating - committee which will submit its report at the del- egate assembly Tuesday; 8:30 p.m., at the Jewish War Veter-• ans Memorial Home. The nominating committee, headed by Morris Lieberman, consist Of William Cohen; Mrs. Samuel Green, Norman Berkley, Jerome Kellman, Robert R. Nathans and Harold Silver: The committee is considering nominees for 12 vacancies on the Council's executive committee. Dr. Shmarya Kleinthan, pres- ident, states that other nomin- ations may be made from the floor by qualified delegates. The only stipulation under Council election procedures is that the person nominated must himself be a duly constituted delegate and must have expressed his willingness to serve if elected. The names of all. candidates will be placed on a ballot to be dis- tributed to delegates at the final delegate assembly in May.
