Enthusiastic Audience
Greets Kesner Records

Enthusiastic reviews and com-
ments have greeted "Zman
Cheyruseynu," (Holiday of Free-
dom) the album of two 10-inch
records embodying the story and
songs of the Passover Festival.
Two Detroit artists, Cantor
Moe Kesner, baritone, and Mrs.
Bella Goldberg, mezzo-soprano,
perform with much success in
the Sheera Recording Co. pro-
ject, which is intended to stimu-
late an interest in good Jewish
music.
Kesner decided to produce the
album when he discovered that
there was a lack of good Jewish
music available for the holiday
that could be sung in schools
and homes with familiarity.
Libraries throughout the
United States and Canada have
added the album to their per-
manent circulations. Other ap-
proving comments have been,
made by the American Associa-
tion for Jewish Education, Na-
Civil Defense Experts
tional Jewish Music Council,
rabbis, ministers and educators.
To Discuss Survival
In a letter from the American
Against Atom Bomb
Association for JeWish Educa-
tion, Kesner was praised with,
Are you defenseless against "The album is unique in its ap-
the Atomic Bomb? _ Three men proach and it does not duplicate
with the answer will be present- already available materials on
,
Passover."
The Passover records are
available at Detroit Hebrew
Book Store, Metro Music House
and Borenstein's Book Store.
