Annual Meeting and Elections of the following Federation Agencies:

North End Clinic

Resettlement Service

Jewish Social Service Bureau

Fresh Air Society

Fred M. Butzel Memorial Award

Amendment Vote

L Proposed amendment to the Federation By-Laws, so that Section

4, Article III, shall read:

There shall be an Executive Committee consisting of the following:

(a) All of the officers of the Federation.

(b) Four (4) members of the Board of Governors selected by the
Board whose service shall be limited to three consecutive
terms of one year each.

(c) The Chairman of each Budget and Planning Division. The
Chairmen shall be selected from the members of the Board of
Governors.

(d) The respective Presidents of the Detroit Service Group, the.
United Jewish Charities and the Women's Division of the
Federation. In the event that any of the Presidents of the or-
ganization herein named shall be officers of the Federation,
the Board of Governors shall designate so many additional
members to the Executive Committee as will make up the full
number thereof as herein contemplated.

Section (b) at present reads:
Four (4) members of the Board of Governors selected by the
Board.

Section (c) is new.

II. Proposed amendment to Federation By-Laws, Section 2, Article
III, to add:

In addition to the members of the Board elected and designated as
aforesaid, the Board shall include the following:
(a) Past presidents of Federation - each for a five (5) year term
following the completion of the term in office as president and
terminating at the fifth annual meeting following their retire-
ment from the presidency.
(b) Former chairmen of the Allied Jewish Campaign each for a
five-year term following their service as campaign chairmen
and terminating at the fifth annual meeting after holding this
office.
(c) Former presidents of the Federation whose term of office ex-
pired not earlier than in the year 1947,•for a term ending five
years after the expiration of their last term of office.
(d) Beginning with the year 1951, each retiring president of the
Federation for a term of five years.
(e) Former chairmen of the Allied Jewish Campaign whose term
of service expired not earlier than in the year 1947, for a term
ending five years after the expiration of their last term of
service.
(f) Beginning with the year 1945, each retiring chairman of the
Allied Jewish Campaign for a term of five years.

Proposed amended By-Laws of Jewish Children's Bureau.

ALL MEMBERS OF THE JEWISH WELFARE FEDERATION

Contributors to the 1950 Allied Jewish Campaign

ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO ATTEND.
