Mr. and Mrs. Irving Fields, of Grand Ave., are vacationing in
Phoenix, Ariz., where they are visiting their niece and nephew,
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Goldberg, formerly of Detroit. The Fields will
also spend two weeks in Los Angeles.
Dr. and Mrs. Shmarya Kleinman have returned from Cleve-
land, where both of them addressed the Ohio State Conference
of the Jewish Labor Committee.
Mr. and Mrs. Abe A. Schmier, of Sherbourne Road, have re-
turned from a month's stay in New Orleans ,and Miami Beach.
Mrs. Rose Rubin of 4280 Pasadena returned March 26 from an
extended sojourn in Miami Beach.
Rhea E. Cashman has returned from an Air Tour of the West
Indies visiting Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and several other Islands
planning for the Tours by Air of the West Indies for vacations of
10 days and more.
Mr. and Mrs. M. Ginsburg, of Traverse City, returned from a
two month vacation in Los Angeles.
Mrs. Sam Markel, son, Sidney and daughter, Mrs. H. Katz, of
Leslie Ave., have returned from a ten-day visit to the Hotel Taft
in New York.
Miss Judy Katzman, of Fairfield Ave., and her cousin, Miss
Rita Katzman, of Santa Barbara Dr:, are spending 10 days in
Springfield, Mass., visiting their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs.
Kermit R. Barger.
Mrs. Edgar K. Spertner and children, James and Susan are
spending a week at Potawatamie Inn, Angola, Ind.
A family dinner was given March 16 by Mr. and Mrs. David
Shapiro, of Sturtevant Ave. to honor Mrs. Shapiro's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Irving Klein, of San Juan Dr., on their 25th wedding
anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ancell, of 18704 Wisconsin, have been
informed that their son, Marvin Lee, has been given the distinc-
tion of being chosen general's aide to Brig. Gen. Less, command-
ing officer at Camp Carson, Colo. Prior to his induction into
the Army, Pvt. Ancell was a law student at Wayne University.
A spinster dinner given by Mesdames Hannah Zacks, and
Rose Brown, rounded out the parties in honor of Arline Lentzer,
a bride-elect. Affairs also were sponsored by Mesdames Miriam
Zacks, Adele Abromovitz, Yetta Kutnik, Hannah Linden, Lillian
Moscow, Esther Bowen, William Halperin, and Weisberg. The
wedding took place March 25.
Twelve couples were present at a surprise birthday party
given for Eileen Bussell, of 3816 Glendale, by her cousin, Roslyn
Kantor.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kaichen of Huntington Woods have
returned from a month's visit in the Florida Keys.
Mr. and Mrs. James Wineman and their son Henry II of
Roslyn Rd. are visiting his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Davis of New Orleans.
Mrs. Stanley Fleischaker of West Eight Mile Rd. and her
niece, Mary Einstein, who is on vacation from her classes at Lake
Erie College, are visiting with friends in Cincinnati.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Gilbert of Arden Park are spending a
week at White Sulphur Springs, Va.
Mr. and Mrs. Julian G: Wolfner of Burlington Rd. have re-
turned from Palm Beach where they were guests for a number of

Mrs. M. M. Wittelshofer, who returned on Tuesday from
Boston where she visited for a few days with her son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mintz, has moved into her new
apartment at 660 Whitmore Rd.
Miss Eiga Hershman arrived on Thursday from New York to
spend 10 days with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. A. M. Hershman of
Calvert Ave.
Mrs. Oscar Zemon of Roslyn Rd. and her son, Mickey Tabor,
are spending a week in New Orleans.
Dr. and Mrs. Thoma's Marwill and son Brand of Huntington
Woods are spending a fortnight in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ginsburg have moved from the Belcrest
and are now residing at 660 Whitmore Rd.
