To Marry in June

On Sunday, at 2 p.m., in the
Young Israel Center, the oldest
Jewish fraternal organization in
Michigan will sponsor an un-
usual event—a special program
in honor of its past presidents.
The organization, Pisgah Lodge,
of Bnai Brith, is the second old-

kind in the state.
Twenty - seven known living
past-presidents will be awarded
a diamond Menorah pin, which
signifies an outgoing president.
Most of the men to be honored
served before the custom of the
pins was instituted.
Oldest, in length of service,
that the arrangement commit-
tee found was Morris Garvett,
who was president in 1918. He
was followed by Theodore Levin,
now Federal District Judge. In
chronological order, the past-
