Wed to Donald Keller
Mr: and Mrs. Bertram Zausmer have returned from a honey-
moon in Mexico where they visited Acapulco and •Mexico City.
Their marriage took place Jan. 16, at the Whittier, and was sol-
emnized by Rabbi Morris Adler. The bride wore a, gown of candle-
light satin, with a deep, portrait neckline and long fitted sleeves.
A full skirt swept into a cathedral train. The bride's finger-tip
veil of silk illusion was held in place by a coronet of satin. She
carried a prayer book with white orchids and ivy. Shirley Lino-
vitz was matron of honor, and ,Norman Zausrner, brother of the
bridegroom, was best man. Bridesmaids were Ada Laven, Char-
lotte Waterstone and Shirley Gaynor. Ushers. included Murray
Serkin, brother of the bride, Carl Goldfarb, Avery Davis, Robert
Lipson and Jack Schechter. Sylvia Gerson was flower girl and
Arnold Linovitz was ring bearer. Out-of-town guests were Mrs.
H. Sidenberg and Mrs. J. Bendman, both of Winnipeg, Can.
Dr. Harold Plotnick, resident physician at the Jewish Hospital,
Cincinnati, 0., is spending his two-week mid-year vacation with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Myer Plotnick, of Clements Ave.
Mrs. Harold J. Baskin, of the Belcrest Hotel, recently returned
from New York.
Mr. and _Mrs. Eugene Arnfeld of Strathcona Dr. are spending
a few weeks at Golden Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Moers of the Park Lane Apt. have left
for Miami Beach.
Mrs. Joseph Burak of Longfellow Ave. has returned from Cali-
fornia where she spent the last month visiting with members of
her family.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kaichen of Huntington Woods are leav-
ing this Friday for Cocoa, Fla., where they will visit her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. John A. Heavenrich, who are spending the winter
there.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ginsburg, of the Belcrest have returned
from a stay in Miami Beach.

turned from a West Indies cruise.

at Hollywood Beach, Fla.

turned from a few weeks' stay in Miami Beach.

Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Newton left on Sunday for Florida
where they plan to spend the remainder of the winter.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kramer of Whitmore Rd. left on Tuesday
for Miami Beach where they will visit with members of their

can cruise.

day for a few week's stay in Miami Beach, Fla.

A ten session Institute on
World Jewish Affairs, sponsored
by Rabbi Morris Adler, is an-
nounced by Mrs. Dan Shapiro,
educational vice-president of the
Women's Division of the Amen-
can Jewish Congress. All ses-
sions will be held at Northwest
Hebrew Cong. •
Rabbi Adler will address the
Opening session Monday, follow-
•ing a dessert luncheon begin-
ning at 12:30 p. m. He will speak
on "The Jew of Tomorrow."
Subsequent lectures will be held
on consecutive Mondays, from
9:45 to 11:15 a.m.
Participants in the institute,
who will consist of prominent
lay and religious leaders, include
Rabbis J. Sperka, M. Lehrman,
J. Segal, W. Greenfield, of In-
dianapolis; Rudolph Rosenthal,
of Cleveland; and Bernard
Isaacs, Albert Elazar and Mrs.

Brandeis Men to Fete
Max Sosin, Humorist
Louis D. Brandeis Lodge, Bnai
Brith, will honor Max Sosin, lo-
cal humorist, for his efforts in
behalf of the community and
Bnai Brith. Celebrities in the
entertainment field will join in
paying tribute to Sosin, by ap-
pearing on the program.
Sosin has donated his time
and services to such institutions
as the veteran's hospital, old
folks home, Catholic groups and
Bnai Brith functions, and has
always been in the foreground
when money is being raised for
charity.
The affair will take place
March 13, at Young Israel Cen-

The bride wore a white lace
gown over taffeta, and her elbow
length veil fell from a headpiece
of mother-of-pearl orange blos-
soms. She carried a cascade of
gardenias carnations and ivy.
Mrs. Earl Roberts, sister of the
bride, was matron of honor.
Patty Roberts was flower girl.
Herbert Silver was his brother-
in-law'S best man.
The young couple, after re-
turning from a Florida honey-

Leadership Courses
The club leadership course of
the League of Jewish Women's
Organizations, under the direc-
tion of Mrs. • Rupert Cortright,
will begin at 12:45 p.m., Thurs-
day, at the Halevy Music Cen-
ter.
The ten-week course will in-
clude how to develop poise, ease,
self-confidence and body free-
dom and action; how to adjust
emotionally and mentally to
speech situations and acquire
skill in using the voice effective-
ly; how to lead group and panel
discussions, how to develop bet-
ter understanding of people
and become a better leader; and
fundamentals of Parliamentary
procedure, practice and conduct
of business meetings.
The cooperative council will
meet with case chairmen and
presidents of service groups at

open house in her honor at 8:30
