Wildemere Ave. have returned from .a few weeks' stay in Miami
Beach.
Mrs. Ben Newmark of Merton Rd. left on Thursday for Mus-
kegon where she will spend the week with her mother, Mrs. Rae
Rosenthal, on the occasion of her 88th birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Newman of Sturtevant Ave. left on
Wednesday for a stay in Hollywood Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. I. Sparburg of Littlefield Ave. are leaving this
Saturday to spend a few days in New York.
Mrs. Ira Friedenberg of the Wilshire has left for Miami Beach
where she will spend the winter months.
Mrs. Edward Blumberg and her small son, Larry, are spend-
ing the week in Akron, 0., where they are guests of her grand-
mother, Mrs. Louis Grosslight.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Friedman of Ilene Ave. have left for an
extended stay in Miami Beach. , .
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gendelman of Fairfield Ave. are spending
the week-end in New York.
Mrs. Louis Barnett of Normandy Ave. is spending a few weeks

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Baron of Lansing spent the last week-
end visiting with his mother, Mrs. Emil Baron of Hazelwood Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lipton of Greenlawn Ave. have left for
a stay in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. William Simon Gottlieb and family have moved
into their new home at 17567 Monica.
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron A. Silberblatt of 3311 Chicago have left
for a month's stay with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Alton P.
Dreyer, in Orlando, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Lipsky of Pennington Dr. entertained at
-a dinner in honor of Ethel Alfeld and Edward Sherman, whose
marriage will take place Feb. 11 at the Shaarey Zedek.
Mrs. Seymour Gardner (Ruth Gach) formerly of Detroit, and
her sons, Howard and Ned, of Evanston, Ill., are the guests of
her mother, Mrs. Bessie Gach of Monterey. Mrs. Gardner came
for the graduation exercises of her brother, Jerry Gach, who re-
ceived his degree in pharmacy from Wayne University. Mr. Gard-
ner will join his family here for a brief visit.
Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Berman of Picadilly Road will leave Sat-

urday on a four-week tour to the West Indies, returning by way of
Palm Beach and New York City.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel H. Goldfine, their daughter and son-
in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac C. Benairri . (Beverly Goldfine), are
spending the month of February in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Jacobs and children, Shirlee, Milton and
Nancy, formerly of Broadstreet, now are residing in their new
home at 18515 Kentucky.
Mr. and Mrs. David Targum of Indiana Ave. left for 'Tampa,
Fla., where they will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schonbrun.
Mrs. Rose Edelman and son, Herbert Melvin, motored to New
•York City. They will make their home at Kew Gardens Hills, L.1.,
N. Y. Her daughter, Sandra Rita, who was married recently to
Fred Hittman, will reside in Ann Arbor where both attend the
University of Michigan.
Dr. and Mrs. H. S. Mellen and family, formerly of Roselawn
Ave., now are residing in their new home on Stratford Road.

Mr. and Mrs. Morris Freedman
for their efforts in the culture

the planting of 50 trees in Is-
rael, came to them on th e
double celebration of their sil-
ver wedding anniversary .a n d
Mr. Freedman's 50th birthday.

and many other civic organiza-
tions in Miami Beach.
M. Kimmel served in the
army for four years and was
discharged as a captain.
