Rabbi Adler Opens
Congress Institute
On Jewish Affairs

An Institute on World Jewish
Affairs, sponsored by Rabbi Mor-
ris Adler, for the American Jew-
ish Congress Women will be held
from Feb. 26 to May 14, at
Northwest Hebrew Cong.
The Institute will feature
prominent lay and religious lead-
ers from Detroit and outlying
areas, who will discuss the vital
current topics of local, national
and international scope.
Participants of the Institute
include: Rabbis J. Sperka, M.
Lehrman, J. Segal, and Rudolph
Rosenthal, of Cleveland, and
Bernard Isaacs, Albert Elazar,
Jacob Kellman; and Mrs. Morris
Adler.
Rabbi Adler will open the In-
stitute speaking on "The Jew
of Tomorrow—What Will He
Look Like?"

Rabbi Adler to Speak
At Ahavas Achim Meet

Adler, of Cong. Shaarey Zedek,
will be guest speaker.

Beginners' Hebrew Classes

A new Hebrew class for be-
ginners eight to nine years old
will be offered starting Monday
by the Shaarey Zedek religious
school. Classes, which meet
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday,
from 4 to 5 p.m., are under the
guidance of qualified and expe-
rienced teachers.
The course will include prep-
aration for Bar Mitzvah, with
the study of Hebrew, prayer,
Jewish customs and ceremonies.
