launch its own $3,000,000 cam-
paign here beginning Feb. 1

The principal disagreements

an agreement between the
Greater New york UJA and the
JDA for 1951; the American Jew-
ish Press was told, were JDA's
demands for a fuaranteed sum
of the 1951 UJA income or per-
mission to operate a supple-
mentary drive.

(Organization for Rehabilitation
through Training), principal
agency offering vocatio nal
training to Jews overseas, ac-
cording= to an agreement signed
by representatives of the two
agehcies at JDC's headquarters,
270 Madison Ave., New York.
The agreement was signed by
Prof. William Haber and Dr.
Aron Syngalowski, representing
ORT, and Moses A. Leavitt, ex-

Prof. Haber is president of
American ORT Federation and
Dr. Syngalowski, who will re-
turn to Europe this week-end, is
chairman of the executive corn:-

Rabbis to Boycott Bris
If Conducted by Gentile

BOSTON — (AJP) —A boycott

on the attendance or recitation
of the ritual at any "bris" or
ritual circumcision if the sur-
geon performing the operation
is a non-Jew was voted here by
members of the Rabbinical As-
sociation of greater Boston.
The rabbis voted unanimous-
ly that members will attend the
"bris" only if the "mohel" him-
self performs the ritual or if a
Jewish .physician performs the
operation and the rabbi is ask-
ed to recite the ritual, the Bos-
ton Jewish Advocate reported.
In another action the Asso-
ciation called upon local hos-
pitals to inform the various
rabbis of the community when-
ever one of their congregants
enters the hospital as a patient,
the Advocate reported. • r -

Mexican Jews to Launch
Separate Drive for Israel

Jews of Mexico will not conduct
a United Jewish Drive this year,
but will launch a separate cam-
