CUE WOMEN expanded its
scope at its last meeting, pass-
ing a by-law which sets up a
special fund to support corn-
munity projects other than
child rescue work. The action
enables the Rescue Women to
participate in the League of
Jewish Women's "Serve a Proj-
ect" campaign for hospitalized
war veterans.

Bidlofsky as veterans affairs
chairman is announced by Mrs.

the BBYO dramatic group in a
comedy show, which is under

has been planned. Tickets may
be purchased from all Kadimah
members or at the tunnel news
stand in. Windsor. -Tickets, how-

Druggist to Be Honored
By. Bnai Brith Lodge

A plaque honoring
Louis
Stone, the Third Ave. druggist

who for years has contributed
to welfare of underprivileged
youngsters, will be presented
Feb. 13 at Young Israel Center
by Louis D. Brandeis, Bnai Brith.
Various youth centers and the
Detroit police department will•
also pay tribute to him.
In accepting the invitation to
be present, Stone remarked, "I -
am deeply gratified in my own
humble way when the Jewish
people of Detroit, represented by
a Bnai Brith lodge, have indi-
cated that I am to be the recipi-
ent of such a high honor."

Mr. and Mrs. Moe Pearlman,

engagement of their daughter,
Geraldine, to Max Miller, son of
