IF YOU HAPPENED to hear
Arthur Godfrey's comment that
some one from Minsk claimed

Asked how she got it, Mrs. Key-

LAW, ORDER, AND Police ef-
ficiency are all very fine . . .
but Murray Seidler thinks there
is a time and place for such ef-
ficiency . . . Jan. 15 was definite-

At a party honoring the young
Wayne University social science
instructor and his prospective
bride, Judy Piaven, on their re-
cent engagement, there came a
tapping, then a rapping on the
door . . . Two burly officers took
one look around • . . then sheep-
ishly said they were taking
Murray away to the hoosegow
• . . The charge, failure to pay
a $2 pedestrian ticket . . . So,
while a house full of guest's
snickered and enjoyed them-
selves at THEIR party, the
guests of honor straightened out
affairs at Palmer Park Police
Station . . . Although he had
paid the ticket . . . granted it
was just a wee bit late .. . the
traffic court machinery had not
caught up to him . and Mur-
ray was forced to put up a "$5
