Mr. and Mrs. Julius Hartman of Indiana Ave. have left for
Chicago where they are visiting with members of their family.
Mrs. Bertram Levin of Glencoe, Ill., was the guest for a few
days of her aunt, Mrs. Ben Newitiark of Merton Rd.
Mrs. Charles Rothstein has moved from Shrewsbury Rd. and
is now residing at 825 Whitmore Rd.
Mr. and Mrs. George D. Seyburn of Wildemere Ave. have left
for Miami Beach where they will spend a few weeks .
Mrs. Max Krell of Washburn Ave. left on Sunday for New
York where she will spend a few weeks visiting with members of
her family.
Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Schorr have left on a few weeks' motor
trip to the west coast.
• Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rosenstein of South Bend, Ind., spent a
few days in Detroit this week visiting with members of their
family.
Mrs. Dan Krouse of Normandy Ave. was hostess at a tea in
her home last Saturday afternoon in honor of her mother, Mrs.
Isaac Berkowitz, on the occasion of her 70th birthday.
At a 16th birthday luncheon at Frame's honoring Judy Kran-
dall, she had as guests: Betsy Brown, Bayla Miskin, Barbara
Maldover, Audrey Goldstone, Sharon Willis, Susan Frank, Rochelle
Davidoff Rosalyn Schulman, Clare Lerman, Lorraine Freedman,
Jaqueline Jaulus, Miriam Weller, Rita Feldman, Beverly Metz,
Marilyn Albert, Milly Berry, Ruth Krandall and Mrs. H. A. Kran-
dall.
Dr. and Mrs. Fred Feigenson (Leatrice Reifler) have left for
Chicago, to be followed by a skiing trip to Wisconsin. The young
couple who were married in March, are taking the trip as a con-
tinuation of their honeymoon, which was delayed because of Dr.
Feigenson's obligations at Receiving hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Green, of Tyler Ave., celebrated their 30th
wedding anniversary with a dinner party for relatives and friends
on Jan. 9.
Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Magid, and son, Lawrence Allan, of 19350
Fenmore, have returned from New York where they visited with
Mr. Magid's sister and mother.
Mrs. B. A. Gladwin (Rhea Cashman) is spending the week-
end in New York as the guest of the American Export Lines for
the inspection of the S. S. Independence prior to its maiden voy-
age into service to Israel.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Schwartz of Monica Ave. have left to
spend the winter in Miami Beach, Fla.

decision of the University of
Michigan to eliminate from fu-

ADL has been working for the
past several years to eliminate
discrimination in higher educa-
tion, cooperating closely within
