campaign rally next Thursday
evening at the Labor Zionist In-
stitute, 13722 Linwood.
A musical program will be giv-
en by the popular Yiddish hu-
morist, Al Harris, who is recog-
nized as the best interpreter of
Sholem Aleichem characters.
The City Committee of Far-
band issued -a special appeal to
its members to attend the rally
which will be the mid-campaign
rallying point for Farband.
Officers and active campaign
workers of affiliated landsman-
schaften have been invited to
attend the annual landsman-
schaften breakfast on Sunday,
at 10 o'clock, at the Labor Zion-
ist Institute. Philip Slomovitz
will be the guest speaker, with
Louis Levine, chairman of or-
ganizations, reported additional
treasury gifts of landsmanschaf-
ten at last week's rally: Prim-
rose Benevolent Club, $500;
Korostichever, $400; Simche Sar-
ner, $320; Bereznitser, $450; Ga-
lician Aid Society, $135.
The following organizations
have arranged Histadrut eve-

Shmukler, who has obtained 65
