"Homes are not centrally
heated, certainly not in tents
and crude camp shelters, which
completely lack the comfort of
warmth. For those who live In
Israel, warm clothing is a neces-
sity, and this is a necessity
which is too often lacking."

Bnai Brith asks that people
contribute clothing in "good
condition," garments that can
be used for at least a year.
The clothing will be shipped
to Israel and there distributed
through the camps where re-
cent immigrants have come
with little else than the cloth-
ing on their backs.
Garments which need only
minor repair will gladly be ac-
cepted, and cleaning will be
taken care of when clothing is
sorted for shipment.

state. He also praised Mrs. Pe-
ron for sending clothes to chil-
dren of Israel through the social
foundation of which she is pres-
ident.
