If Father Were Here:

In Persia last
year, as every year, father lit the candles of freedom on Hanu-
kah for these Yemenites—mother and daughter. But fdther,
whom they lost on the way to Israel, will never light them
again. Nevertheless Hanukah is a day of new - found glory,
for this couple whose freedom is assured by Israel.
