David A. Brown
Thanks Friends

David A. Brown, who was
honored two weeks ago on his
75th birthday, desires to thank
his numerous friends who

have greeted him on his natal
day.
Pointing out that the mes-
sages he has received are so
numerous that it is difficult
for him to ;answer each one
individually, Mr. Brown has
asked The Jewish News to
publish his "hearty thank
you" to those who remember-
ed him with wires, phone calls,
letters and other congratula-
tory media.
"I know you'll reach all my
friends," Mr. Brown told us.
"If any one questions that
your publication- is read, send
them to me and I'll give posi-
tive evidence, not only of the
letters, wires, etc., etc., but the
many who have stopped me
on the street to congratulate
me."

The\great actor paid tribute
to Al Jolson and closed the
