troit-Leland Hotel. .
Max Osnos, president of the
Jewish Hospital Association,
states that the meeting will
mark the announcement,of the
decision to secure bids and pro,
teed with construction of the
Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Wilinsky began his med-
ical practice in Boston in 1904,
and entered the field of public
health administration in 1910
when he became a member of
the Boston Department of
Health. For the last 25 years he
has been Boston's Deputy
Health Commissioner.
He has been president of the
New England Hospital Assembly,
president of the Massachusetts
Public Health Association, presi-
dent of the American Public
Health Association 'and lecturer
on Public Health Administra-
tion at the Harvard School of
Public Health and . Massachu-
setts Institute of Technology.
He was given an honorary de-
gree from Harvard in 1941 and
the Boston City Club Gold
Medal for distinguished com-
munity service in 1943.
Drive Continues
The Greater Detroit Hospital
Fund continues its campaign
for $19,720,000 of which $2,500,-
000 — subject to the successful
completion of the drive—will be
allocated for the new Jewish
Hospital to supplement funds
previously contributed or
pledged. In order to promote
the success of the Greater De-
troit Hospital Funds d r i v e,
Osnos announced that the of-
ficers and board - of. the Jewish
Hospital Association have or-
ganized for a campaign among
the Jewish community. .
Osnos urged that members of
the community take advantage
of the wide choice of memorial
opportunities in the proposed
Jewish Hospital. "U nits de-

physical therapy, dietary and
other departments and facilties
