Contemporary Jewish Life; and

seventeen lectures in the course
of "Backgrounds for the Ameri
can Jew.'c

in this course, sponsored by the
Men'S Club, are: Dr. Max Heit-
man on "The Romance of Jew-
ish Music;" a symposium with
Rabbi Emanuel Rackman, Rabbi
Edward T. Sandrow, and Rabbi
David M. Eichorn, representing
Orthodox, Conservative and Re-
formed Jewish viewpoints on
"Tomorrow's Judaism;" Maurice
Samuel on "Jewry in the World
of Tomorrow."
The adult classes follow the
annual Layman's Institute spon-
sored by the Men's Club and
slated for Nov. 16 to 18.
Participating in this year's In-
stitute will be: Rabbi Jacob E.
Segal, Northwest Cong.; Rabbi
Max J. Ruttenberg of New York
