Alex Schreiber, of the Lee PlIza, surprised his wife with -a

from a two-month motor tour through the American National
Parks.

weeks in Memphis, Tenn., where she is the guest of her daughter

brew Cultural ,Group of Detroit,
was held Sept'. 30, in the Rose
Sittig Cohen Bldg.

A composite report of all the
activities of the Kvutzah during
the year 5710 was submitted by
the President, Joseph Katz.
Stressing the importance of
acquiring Hebrew books, Morris
Nobel made an appeal to all the
members of the Kvutzah to ac-
quire two new Israeli books a
year plus Hebrew books pub-
lished by the Histadruth Ivrith
of America.
Baruch Rosen, editor of "Cus-
tom and Commu9.ication," pub-
lished in Israel, spoke • on the
"State of Israel Today" and the
accomplishments of the Kvut-
tah Ivrith of Detroit.
The next cultural meeting of
the Kvutzah will be held Sat-
urday evening in the auditorium
of the Rose Sittig Cohen Bldg.
The speaker will be Albert Ela-
zar, who recently returned from
a visit to Israel. Hid topic is
"My Experiences in Israel."
