Attending the board meeting of the Michigan Federation of
Temple Sisterhoods held in Flint on Oct. 2 were Mrs. Samuel

have returned from a five-day visit in New York City.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Frank of Lawrence Ave. left this week for
an extended visit in Florida resorts.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kaczander, formerly of Collingwood Ave.,
are e now residing in Flushing, N. Y. Mr. Kaczander was recently
appointed associate radio director with • Columbia Broadcasting
System. Mrs. Kaczander will soon visit her family on Cortland
Ave.

evening, Oct. 7, in honor of their daughter, Ruth, her fiance, Dr.

suming their studies at the University of Michigan.

The nearly 400 Division mem-
bers who attended the meeting
voted to make more explicit the
article of their constitution re-
garding membership eligibility
by defining a member of the
Division as "every woman who
contributes in her own name to
the Women's Division of the
Detroit Allied Jewish C a m -
paign."
Professional women contribut-
ing to the campaign are auto-
matically members of their own
trade or professional division.
Any woman whose husband con-
tributes to the campaign is eli-
gible to join the Women's Div-
ision by making a pledge in her
own name to the women's phase
of the drive.
Other amendments gave of-
ficer status to the Division rep-
resentative on the Federation
board, called for nominations
by petition and instructed the
nominating committee to 'de-
signate one vice-president to
discharge the duties of the Pres-
ident in her absence.

local, national and overseas en-

Keynote speaker at the con-
vention was Elihu Stone of Bos-
ton, an honorary vice-president
of the ZOA, and a former New
England congressman.
