Mr. and Mrs. James Rachleff of Pasadena Ave. had as their
house guest for the holidays Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rachleff of
Springfield, Mass.
Mrs. Harry Stiglitz of W. McNichols Rd., leaves next week for
• Florida. Her daughter, Dorothy, has left for an extended trip to
New Mexico.
Murray Greenblatt, son of the Daniel Greenblatts of Marlow
Ave., a recent graduate of University of Michigan, has left to at-
tend Harvard Law School.
Nine-year-old Carolyn Sandra Roth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
S. Roth of 3281 Tyler celebrated her birthday Sept. 22 with a
party at home for 20 children.
Mrs. Elsie Morris of Boston, Mass., (formerly of Detroit) hbs
returned home after a four-month visit here with her sister and
brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Max Stern of the Hampton Apts.
Mrs. Simon Ginsberg of Washington, D. C., formerly of Detroit,
is visiting relatives and friends in this city.
Mrs. Lewis Zuieback of Cambridge Road recently returned
from a 10-day visit in New York City.
Melvin Mayer of Cincinpati visited in Detroit last week with
members of his family.
Mrs. Casper Cutler of Warrington Drive and Mrs. Samuel
.Blather of Greenlawn Ave. spent the past week-end in Cham-
paigne, Ill., guests at the Sigma Delta Tau Sorority house. Miss
Marjorie Cutler drove with them to the University of Illinois to
resume her studies there.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Gilbert of Arden Park have returned from
their summer home in Charlevoix, Mich.
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Kelter of Cherrylawn Ave. and Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Lewis of Whitmore Road recently returned
from a fortnight's motor trip through the eastern states.
Honoring their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert , Friedeberg, on
the occasion of their fiftieth wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs.
Peter Fredericks entertained at a family dinner at their home
on West Brentwood Ave. during the past week.
Judd Levin, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Levin of Franklin,
Mich., has resumed his studies at Bard College, in New York, and
his brother Jerry Levin has left for Northwestern University.
-- Dr. and Mrs. A. E. Schiller, formerly of W. Chicago Blvd., have
moved into their new home at 19709 Roslyn Road.
Mr. and Mrs.. Stanley Fleishaker of West Eight Mile Road have
had as their house guest their aunt, Miss Sophie Franklin of

Mrs. M. H. Weinberg of *Hollywood, Cal., is spending a month
visiting her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Rafel-
son of Oak Drive. -
Mrs. Joseph M: Wolff of Fairfield Ave. recently returned from
a three-week motor trip to Los Angeles, where she visited with
relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Ginn of Birchcrest Drive visited in
Chicago during the past week.
Mrs. Jeanette Loeser of Cleveland has been the house-guest
of Mr. and Mrs. David Wilkus of W. Boston Blvd.
Miss Joan Field, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Field of
Roslyn Road, has left for New York City to resume her studies
at the New York School of Design.
Mrs. Benjamin Shwayder returned recently from a visit in
Chicago with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and •Mrs. Walter
L. Klein of that city.
Among those who have left for Harvard University to resume
their studies this fall are Arthur Hartman, Stanley Zemon, John
Alexander, Joel Isaacson, David Osnos, and Vern Leopold.
.; Mrs. Isaac Gilbert of Third Ave. has returned from Charlevoix,
where she sent the summer months.

business meeting last night in
the Prayer Room of Cong.
Shaarey Zedek. Dr. William
Wattenberg, Prof. of Education-
al Psychology at Wayne Univer-
sity, spoke on "Normal Problems
of Childhood."

A games party was held Sept.
18 at the Marine Hospital where
gifts were distributed to the pa-
tients. Mrs. Roland Gottesman,
hospital chairman, and her Com-
mittee, Mesdames Ben Chinitz,
Harry Zucker, Robert Weintrob,
Irving Hencken and Henry Kap-
lan participated in the enter-
tainment.

'YETI-COHEN Ladies Auxilia-
ry meets at the Memorial Home
at 8:3Q. p.m. Monday, Oct. 2.
Hostesses for the evening will
be Constance Cohen and Belle
Holtzman. Members are urged
