Irate Frau Condemns
Desecration of Graves

FRANKFURT — (WJA) -- Ex-
pressing indignation at the con-
tinued desecration of Jewish
cemeteries, a German woman,
Frau Gertrude Seidel, writes in
a letter to the editor of • "Die
Neue Zeitung" in Frankfurt:
"Perpetrators of such acts are
either mad or criminals. It is
the duty of the German popu-
lation to respect Jewish graves
and care for them.• There are
many Germans who mourn dear
Jewish friends, and who would
be , prepared to contribute to-
wards a fund for the mainte-
nance of Jewish graves."
