Daniel Frisch Chapter, ZOD,
evidently believes in the leader-
ship of the Ettinger family. On
Sept. 5, at an election meeting,
members of the young adult
group elected Elaine M. Ettinger
president, to succeed her hus-
band, Robert C. W. Ettinger.
Other officers elected were:
Executive vice president, Lillian
Tron; recording secretary, Ros-
lyn Tron; corresponding secre-
tary, Fredel Mosier; 'treasurer,
Morris Cutler; program chair-
man, Tybie Schneider, assisted
by Rose Ann Cern and Goldie
Gartz; social chairman, Sol
Wildstrom, assisted by Mr. and
Mrs. Morris Lazarus; member-
ship chairmen, Micki Lancet,
- Willie Shanfield; Jewish Nation-
al Fund, Julius Kaplan; greet-
ings, Leah Duchin, Fay Katz;
sergeant-at-arms, Bob Mitten-
thai.
The election will be celebrated
Sunday evening, Sept. 10, with
an installation dinner at the

artist will narrate the Jew-
ish Community Council High
Holiday Music Program. The
program will feature the
choir of Temple Israel under
the direction of Karl Haas,
with Cantor Robert Tulman
as soloist. Ole Foersch will be
at the organ.
- A special High Holiday
message will be given for this
occasion by Rabbi Samuel H.
Prero, spiritual leader of the
Young Israel of Detroit.
The holiday programs are
sponsored by the Culture
Commission of the Council
under the chairmanship of
Rabbi Morris Adler, and pre-
sented in cooperation with
Radio Station WWJ. The
Rosh Hashanah program will
be heard on Sunday, Sept.
10, from 12:30 to 1 p.m.
