Mr. and Mrs. Meyer Korby were honored with a party at a
special meeting by Turover Aid Society, Monday, Aug. 14, on the
occasion of their forty-fifth wedding anniversary. Present was
the Turover membership and the children and grandchildren of
the honored couple.
Hershel and Henrietta Lewis have returned from vacationing
at the Edgewater Beach Hotel in Chicago.
Dr. and Mrs. Stanley Levy (Suzanne Jackson) of San Fran-
cisco are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Jackson of
Warrington Dr.
Mr. and Mrs. David Levy and son, Marshall, of Pittsburg are
visiting Mr. and Mrs., George Jackson of Warrington Dr.
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Leisk• of 2756 Clairmont will celebrate
their .golden wedding anniversary Sept. 12 with their children,
Dr. and Mrs. Rudolf Leiser and Mr. and Mrs. Martin ,Kornblum.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Lenhoff of Richton Ave., who are celebrating
their 25th wedding anniversary this month, have just returned
from an extended tour of the eastern and southern states.
Dr. and Mrs. Leo Orecklin of Oak Drive returned last Sunday
from a vacation in Europe.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cutler and son, Ezra, of Collingwood
Ave. have returned from New York where they spent a fortnight
visiting Mrs. Cutler's family in Brooklyn.
Among the guests at Arowhon Pines, Algonquin Park, On-
tario, were Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Fishman, Dr. and Mrs. I._
Shulak, Dr. and Mrs. Ed Falk and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goldman.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred W. Payson and son, Anthony, of Chicago
Blvd., have returned from a visit on Mackinac Island.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Waxman and daughters, Andrea and
Susan, formerly of Webb Ave., are now residing in their new home
on Renfrew Rd.
Manuel J. Kanar, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Kaner, of 2959
Glendale, has just graduated from the University of Michigan
With a. - B.A. degree. He will begin studies for the rabbinate this
fall at Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati.
