World War May
Annihilate. Jewry,
Lubianker Warns

LONDON, (JTA)—A ~ warning
that Jews may again face mass
annihilation in ease of a world
was was sounded here by Pinkas.
Lubianiker, head of an Israel
parliamentary delegation here,
prior to the delegation's return
to Israel.
The Israel leader said that
those arguing against mass im-
migration of Jews from demo-
cratic countries to Israel should
keep in mind that what hap-
pened to Jews in the last world
war may happen again should.
a new world armed conflict
break out. He expressed the op-
inion that British Jews are "let-
ting Israel down" by not doing
their utmost in speeding up im-
migration to the Jewish. state.
Declaring that Israel, must be
strdng to face possible new
dangers, Lubianiker, addressing
a public meeting arranged by
the Zionist Federation here,
said' that Israeli did not get its
independence as "a grant in
aid" from anyone, nor as an act
of grace, but' through hard work
and fighting, and the sacrifice
of the lives of a large number
of its youth.
Moshe Rosette, another mem-
ber of the Israel parliamentary
delegation, addressing the same
gathering, called for an in-
creased flow of Jews from Eng-
lish-speaking countries, to Israel.
He reviewed the activities of the
Israel parliament and declared
that these activities "had given
the lie to those who asserted
that Jews are incapable of gov-
erning themselves."

"If we are to perform our
patriotic duty," the Congress
statement declares, "we must
not peripit ourselves to be used
or misused either by groups
committed to the - totalitarian-
ism of the left, with its basic
denial of the' principles of hu-
man freedom and democracy, or
by those reactionary interests
on the right which are seeking
to exploit the fear of Commu-
nism to destroy the democratic
