Anonymous Christian
Shares Extra Funds
Every year he comes to the
office of the Jewish Federation
in the large city where he lives.
Described by those who have
seen him as a "simple, humble
workman," this Christian Amer-
ican, who has insisted on re-
maining anonymous, has made
a contribution each year in
support of the United Jewish
Appeal.
This year he gave more than
ever before—$250. "I'm just a
human being," he told a news-
paper reporter who learned of
his visit, "who realizes that the
Jewish people, with all their suf-
ferings, are also human beings.
The Lord has given me some
extra funds, and I'm trying to
help others. I'm a Christian
and I only wish I had more to
give to this appeal."
