Religion Among Youth
To Reside In Kansas
FAT,T,SBURG, N. Y., (JTA)-
The 38th annual convention of
Young Israel concluded after
electing Eliahu Stein as -presi-
dent. The convention adopted
resolutions aimed at strength-
ening r e l i g i o u s observance
among .Jewish youth in Amer-
ica. It also decided to build a
Young Israel center in Tel Aviv
on land assigned by the Jewish
National Fund.
Israel OK's Thirty U. S. Industrial
E ntterprises; Offers Capital Privileges
NEW YORK-Thirty new in-
dustrial enterprises in. Israel, in
which American .private capital
is represented to the amount of
$8,500,000 have been approved by
the recently formed Govern-
Investment Center, according to
the current issue of "Economic
Horizons."
Approval by the Investment
Center automatically extends to
these enterprises the benefits of
Israel's new Capital Investment
law.

The advisory council, composed
of business leaders, attempts
to breach the gap between stu-
dents of business and the bUsi-
ness world.
The new enterprises, all of
which were established recently,
cover a wide range of manuL
factures and are in various
stages of construction or pro-
duction. Plants for the manu-
facture of pipe fittings, con-
crete walls and knitted goods are
already in operation. The giant
Kaiser-Frazer automobile as-
sembly plant and a $140,000 zip-
per factory are under construc-
tion at Haifa. Still in the plan-
ning stage are a $3,000,000 paper
mill and a $2,400,000 tire factory.

Mrs. Louis Braitman, the
bride's sister, was her matron
of honor, and the bridesmaids
were Mrs. Morton Lewis, Mrs.
Robert Luby and Sonya Kond-
ritzer.
Robert Luby served his broth-
er as best man, and Dr. Malcolm
Levenson, the bride's brother,
Dr. Harold Fogel, Dr. John
O'Brien, Dr. Milton Zussman
and Morton Lewis were ushers.
The young couple will reside
in Topeka, Kan.

white organza and veil of illu-
sion, carrying white lilies sur-
rounding a white orchid. She
was given in marriage by her
