GENEVA—Dr. Aron Syngalowski, chairmdn of the executive
of the World ORT Union, expressed satisfaction with the develop-
ment of ORT programs in Israel, upon his return from the Jewish
state . . . Israel has a serious manpower problem because 70 per
cent of the immigrants now arriving are unskilled, J. Barshira,
representative of Israel labor, told the International Labor Organ-
ization. .
LONDON—Five hundred European athletes, including a team
of 60 to 80 Englishmen, will be flown to the Maccabiah in Israel.
PARIS—As the European conference of the Labor Zionist
Party concluded here, the delegates called for a "united Zionist
organization" based on the principal of individual membership
