LONDON—(JTA)—The execu-

unanimously to endorse a state-
ment of policy made recently
at the European Revisionist
conference by Meir Grossman,
Jewish Agency executive mem-
ber who was asked by the Israel
Revisionist and Herut leaders to
resign his Agency post.
The executive also decided to
recognize the Brit Hatzohar,

More than 26,000 individual gifts have been received
in the Detroit Jewish community's major annual under-
taking. Several thousand additional prospects are being
given the opportunity to contribute during the Campaign
clean-up.
When all have given, the list
of contributors may equal. last
year's approximately 30,000. In
addition, thousands of school
children have pledged to the 55
campaign causes through drives
in all Jewish schools.
The Campaign army of work-
ers numbered 4500.
Trade. and Professional divi-
sions of the campaign have re-
ported 11,000 contributions, ac-
counting for 85 per cent of the
$4,515,000 total to date. Most of
the prospects still unreported
are in these divisions. The Pro-
fessional Division secured the
most pledges, 2,850, and had the
most workers, 440. Workers in
all Trades Divisions totalled
1800.
Women contributors, who
pledged as individuals through
their own division of the cam-
paign, totalled 12,837. The total
of women's "plus-giving," $525,-
000, w a s amassed by 2,290
workers.
Detroit's young adults, pledg-
ing through the Junior Division,
made 2161 individual gifts to-
tailing $50,000. There were 500
junior workers.
Pledges by organizations are
included in these division fig-
ures.
All Campaign contributors by
virtue of their gifts are mem-
bers of the Jewish Welfare Fed-
eration, Samuel H. Rubiner,
Federation p r e s i d e n t, an-
nounced. The Federation is the
central community body of or-
ganizations and individuals in-
terested in meeting Jewish so-
cial health and welfare, educa-
tional, recreational and group
security needs.
Certificates of award were
mailed this week to outstanding
workers in Pre-Campaign and
Trades and Professions.
Recognition is being given to
workers who distinguished
themselves in some of the fol-
lowing ways: Coverage of large
numbers of slips; leaders who
led their sections to 100 per cent
coverage and to 100 per cent of
'49 giving, or close to it; section
leaders who kept a constant
followup on their workers;
workers who found prospects on
their own—not listed with the
campaign office; workers who,
after completing their assign-
ments, resolicited other pros-
pects.
Most of these workers will
continue to serve until all re-
maining campaign prospects are
covered.
Among those who received
certificates are:
