Grossman Claims Herut
Erased Revisionists

PARIS—(JTA)—A resolution
expressing 'confidence in Meir
Grossman, Revisionist member
of the Jewish Agency executive,
was adopted at a conference of
European leaders of the Zionist-
Revisionist Party, including rep-
resentatives of the executive of
the Revionist Party of Britian.
The Resolution aims to coun-
teract a decision adopted by the
joint Herut-Revisionist group in
Israel demanding the resignation
of Grossman from the Agency
executive.
Grossman, en route to Argen-
tina where he will address meet-
ings in behalf of the United
Israel Appeal, reported to the
Revisionist conference here on
the break which occurred' be-
tween him and the Herut-Revi-
sionist group in Israel. He
charged that Herut, under the
pretext of merger with the Re-
visionists, has completely elim-
inated the Zionist - Revisionist
Party in 'Israel. He therefore de-
cided to revive the Revisionist
Party in Israel by creating a
unit under the name of "Free
Revisionist Organization," he re-
ported. -
Grossman announced that the
Zionist - Revisionists would
launch a shekal campaign in
order to elect their own candi-
dates to the next World Zionist
Congress which will take place
in Jerusalem at the end of the
summer.
A European conference of the
Revisionist organization Brith
Hatzohar concluded in Paris,
with a resolution supporting
Grossman in his dispute with
the Herut-Revisionists.
The conference placed the or-
ganization at his disposal "in
order to create an independent
world Revisionist movement."
The parley decided to convene
a world conference of the or-
ganization in September. A
temporary European leadership
consisting of representatives of
six countries was elected.

JERUSALEM, (JTA) -- High
military officers of Israel and
Jordan decided to set up a de-
marcation line from Ein Gedi
to the Jordan River. The line
will be divided into sectors and
each nation will be responsible
for the cost of erecting and
main t a i n i n g the demarcation
markers in their respective sec-
tors.
Construction of the demarca-
tion line is scheduled to begin
July 1 under the supervision of
a committee composed -of Israel,
Jordan and United Nations rep-
resentatives.
The last group of Arabs to
leave Israel and to join their
relatives in Jordan crossed the
demarcation line in Jerusalem.
The group • was composed of 15
elderly persons whose families
moved to Amman, capital of
Jordan, at the outbreak of hos-
tilities in. Palestine. The Jordan
government announced that af-
ter this group no more would be
accepted.
Andrew Cordier, Assistant Sec-
retary-General of the United
Nations who is now on a tour
of all U. N. missions, conferred

Everyone in the American
League is raving about Al Ros-
en's sensational clubbing with
the Cleveland Indians. At this
time the third baseman - had
belted 17 home runs and is
among the leaders in both
leagues.
Evidently, Hank Greepberg
knew what he was doing' when
he forced Manager Lou Boud-
reau to release Ken Keltner in
favor of Rosen. Keltner drew his
release from the Boston Red
Sox, vindicating Greenberg.
The Jewish infielder went into
the second game of a twin bill
May 21 before he committed his
first error of the 1950 season.
