WASHINGTON—Israel has purchased two DC-4 Skymasters

for El-Al airline.
NEW YORK—Mrs. Martha Sharp, Unitarian Minister's wife

to Israel to visit some 20,000 Jewish .youngsters sent to Israel
through her organization ... United Jewish Appeal here presented
Israel Labor Minister Golda Myerson a check for $1,000,000 .. . A
nine week study mission of Jewish religious life in 15 countries
will be made by Rabbi Harold H. Gordon, general secretary of the
New York Board of Rabbis . Maurice Wertheim, Jewish com-
munal leader who died last month, left over $250,000 in various
bequests, including $100,000 to the Federation of Jewish Philan-
thropies here.
CLEVELAND—Jewish, State and city headers participated in
ceremonies of the Clfrveland chapter of Hadassah dedicating a
memorial plaque . to Henrietta Szold on the 90th anniversary of

gram is being planned by the
adult education department of

Every Monday evening, start-
ing July 3, there will be tel--
vision and music programs in
the television lounge of the Dex-

On Wednesday evenings, a
discussion group will meet in
the outdoor court of the Aaron

Thursday evenings, films will
