LONDON—A. Solod, Soviet Minister to Syria, is reported to
have offered to supply the Syrian government with all of her arms

• MUNICH—Two hundred of 500 Jewish cemeteries in Germany
have been desecrated since the Germans surrendered in 1945, it
was reported by U. S. Commissioner for Hesse, James R. Newman.
COPENHAGEN—A motion granting amnesty to persons sen-
tenced to less than two-and-a-half years' imprisonment "for their
actions and behavior during the German occupation" received its
first reading in the Danish Parliament.
