bers of Neugarten Medical
Aid. MRS. DAVID SAKS,
luncheon chairman, announced
plans for the annual luncheon
to be held Oct. 31 at the Book
Cadillac Hotel.

MC Women Meet
At Luncheon Monday

The Women's Division of the
American Jewish Congress will
meet at a combined chapter
study group dessert luncheon at
12:30 p.m. Monday, May 29, at
Halevy Music Center, Linwood at
Fleet.
William Cohen, chairman of
the Michigan Congress Council
Commission on Law and Social
Action, will discuss the Mundt,
Nixon, Ferguson Bill. His sub-
ject will be "Will Loyalty Legis-
lation Affect You?"

WC Choral Concert
Planned for June 4

The 100-voice Workmen's
Circle Chorus, and New York
soprano Mary Simmons, will
appear in concert Sunday eve-
ning, June 4, at the Institute of
Arts auditorium.
Miss Simmons will be heard
in a group of Yiddish and Pales-
tinian songs, as well as operatic
arias and English ballads.
Directed by Dan Frohman, the
chorus will present a program
of choral works, many of which
will be heard in Detroit for the
first time. The entire program
will be dedicated to Israel. Fea-
tured numbers will include the
cantata "Israel Reborn," and
Franz Shubert's cantata, "Songs
of Miriam."
