will. sail April 27 on the LaGuardia for Israel, after an extended
visit with relatives in this city and El Monte, Calif.
Mrs. Alex Baker and daughter, Karen Mae, have returned to
their home on Cortland Ave., after a seven weeks.' stay in Miami
Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Freeman of Chicago Blvd., have re-
turned from a three-month visit to California and Honolulu.
Mrs. Frank Schefman has returned from New York and Miami
Beach. In New York she attended. the wedding of Selma Hokan
of that city and Raymond Schefman of Phoenix, Ariz. Mr..Schef-
man joined his wife in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Leslie R. Schmier and sons, Jefferey and Robert,
of Lauder Ave. have returned from Miami Beach.
• Mrs. David Sislin has returned from a five-week visitin Israel.
Isaac Rice of Herzlia, Israel, arrived in this country this week
for a several months' stay and will be the guest here of his brother
and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs -. Manuel Rice of Burlingame Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Alan J. Grossman of Fairfield Ave. entertained
at cocktails in honor of their guest, Beverly Winston, of Chicago.
Mrs. Margery Gross and her daughter, Patricia, have returned
from Miami Beach where they spent the winter months.
David M. Welling of the Belcrest has returned from Petoskey
where he spent a few days visiting with his sisters.
Mr. and Mrs. John A. Heavenrich of Longfellow Ave. are
expected home this week-end from Miami Beach where they were
guests last month at the Martinique.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Weisman and their daughter, Nanci, of
Suffolk Dr. have returned from a months' visit in California.
Mrs. Joseph Alexander of Fairfield Ave., who recently returned
from Miami Beach where she had spent the winter months, is
spending a fortnight in Toledo visiting her son and daughter-in-
law, Mr: and Mrs. Lester Alexander.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wetsman of Chicago Blvd. left on Sunday
for Chicago where they plan to visit for a week.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kaichen of • Huntington Woods will
return this week-end from a month's stay in Miami Beach.-
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Plotkin of West Outer Dr. sailed on
Thursday on the S. S. Ile de France for a two months' visit on
the Continent.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Levinson of Chicago Blvd. returned on
Monday from Miami Beach where they spent the winter months.
Miss Frances Kaufman has returned to New York after a few
days' visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kaufman of the
Wilshire.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bernstein of Ewald Circle have returned
from a stay in Miami Beach.
Mrs. Minnie Gallow of Webb Ave. has returned from Miami
Beach where she spent the winter months;
Dr. Edward Frank Jr. of Chicago spent the last week visiting
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Frank of Santa Rosa Dr.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Krouse of Normandy Ave. and Mr. and Mrs.
Greenberg have returned from •a few weeks' visit in Miami Beach.
Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Bloom of Gloucester Dr. left on Thursday
for a visit in New York.
