Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Deutsch of San Juan Ave. returned on
the S. S. Queen Elizabeth after a two months tour of Europe and
Israel. They visited with members of their family in Zurich,
Switzerland; Brussels, Belgium; and Tel Aviv, Israel. They were
accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Warren and Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Bloch of Flint.

To Hear Journalist

Spencer D. Irwin, associate
editor and foreign affairs col-
umnist for the Cleveland Plain
Dealer, will be guest speaker . at
the annual May luncheon of the
Detroit Region of ORT, to be
held at the Franklin Hills Coun-
try Club, at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday,
May 16.
His topic, "A Gentile Looks at
Israel," is one for which he has
a personal background, having
recently returned from an ex-
tended visit to that country.
Arrangements are being han-
dled by Mrs. Royal Oppenheim.
Mrs. Lewis Carlson is in charge
of hostesses and Mrs. A. J. Cope-
land and Mrs. Milton Okun are
in charge of tickets and reser-
vations.
Officers and members of the
board will be elected at this
meeting, the nominating com-
mittee being • chaired by Mrs.
