At Future Chalutzim

Young Adult Guild's
Cabaret Night May 13

Haoleh, the chalutz arm of
IZFA — Intercollegiate Zionist
Federation of America—is ex-
panding its activities with a ser-
ies of programs designed to in-
terest persons in the group's
proj ects. .
The organization's Garin Bet,
a collectiye movement group, is
planning programs of interest
to people who want to live in
Israel's collective settlements.
(The Garin Bet is planning; in
time, to establish its own col-
lective there.)
Weekly gatherings of Haoleh
include discussions on Zionism
and socials. Outings are planned
with IZFA g r oups at Wayne,
University of Michigan,. Toledo
University and an outing at
Cranbroox..
In conjunction with Wayne
IZFA, Haoleh is sponsoring a
study group that meets every
other- Tuesday and views prob-
lems of life in Israel. The next
meeting will be held Tuesday,
May 2.

The Young Adult Guild will
continue its series of '-cabaret
nights for young people, 17 and
over, on Saturday, May 13, at
the Fountain Ballroom.
The floor show will feature
dancer Pat Harrington; roller
skate artist Helen Ackerman;
vocalist • Cooke Metz, - and the
music of Iry Fields and his band.

Gamma Kappa Chi, Wayne
social fraternity, has a ten-man
pledge group this term consist-
ing of Sam Yaker, Dim Levin,
Frank Rosenthal, Harvey Miller,
Irwin Winston, Max Fertel, Mor-
tis Hoffman, Bob Goren, Marvin
Primack and Irwin Tennenhaus,
Milton' Landau, frat sports
chairman, is on the Wayne

Wayne Gives Hebrew
Credit Examinations

Special examinations for
credit in Hebrew will be given
from. 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May
25. These examinations are given
to all matriculated students • at
Wayne University who wish to
receive credit for Hebrew as a
part of fulfilling their foreign
language requirements for grad-
uation. -
