Temple, featuring Bob Strong
and his orchestra.
Simon has appointed the fol-
lowing committee chairmen to
assist him: James Laker,
Gladys Phillips, Chuck Levy,
Theresa Schwartz, Rabbi Max
Kapustin, Herman Farrand and
Leon Katz.

Israel Youth Group
Holds Dinner Dance

The second annual installa-
tion dinner dance of Temple Is-
m., rael Youth Group will be held in
the Pompeian Room of the Whit-
tier Hotel at 7 p.m. Saturday,
May 6. Tickets may be pur-
chased from any member of the
grouP. 'All loutig people and
adults are invited. For further

.Co-chairmen of the dance are
Alene Sutkin and Ilene Rosen.
The dance will be semi-formal
and there will be dinner music
as well as dance music after
the installation ceremonies.

For the first meeting under
its new name, ZOD's Daniel
Frisch Chapter (formerly. Chap-
ter One) will present a discus-
sion of the hydrogen bomb at
8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at
Bnai Moshe Synagogue.
The moral and religious con-
sequences of the use of the
H-Bomb will be reviewed by
Rabbi Moses Lehrman. The pro-
gram also will include a demon-
stration of how the bomb will
work by the group's president,.
Robert C. W. Ettinger, graduate
student in physics at Wayne.
Daniel Frisch Chapter's next
two Oneg Shabbats will feature
"Secular and Religious Educa-
tion in Israel" and "Jewish
Humbr." A marriage clinic on
May 17, - a fashion show on May
31 and a "Night of Stars" on
June 3 also are planned.

Junior Hadassah Ball
This Saturday at Book

Junior Hadassah's second Is-
rael anniversary ball will be held
Saturday evening, April 22, at
the Book-Cadillac Italian Gar-
dens.
Iry Fields quintet will play for
dancing. Dress is semi-formal.
Tickets will be sold at the door.

Zionist Youth Week
NEW YORK, (JTA)—Leaders Dental Fraternity Holds
of the Zionist Organization of Banquet at Tuller
American and Hadassah were

urged to lend active support to
the observance of National Zion-
ist Youth Week which starts
Saturday evening with nation-
wide conferences which will un-
derscore the significance of
youth education for the future
of the Zionist movement and the
American Jewish community.
In a joint proclamation issued
by ZOA president Benjamin G.
Browdy, and Mrs. Rose Halprin,
Hada.ssah president, the leaders
were tord that "the future of
Zionism is being forged today on
the anvil of youth." The procla-
mation pointed out that "the di-
rection given to and . taken by
our young people will determine
the quality of tomorrow's Jew-
ish community."

Alpha Omega dental fraterni-
ty will hold its annual fraternity
night banquet in the Arabian
Room of the Tuller Hotel Mon-

An hour after registration for
Fresh Air Camp was opened
last Sunday more children than
the camp can hold had applied.
700 children wereoregistered be-
tween 9 and 10 a.m. at the Jew-
ish Community Center—capacity
for the camp is only 650 for the
entire summer.
Registrations for the camp
will continue to be accepted at
the offices of the Fresh Air So-
