Evening with a Rabbi
Slated by NW Men

On Monday evening,
April 24, the Men's Club of
Northwest Hebrew Cong. and
Center will present Rabbi Jacob
E. Segal in a program entitled
"An Evening With the Rabbi."
Rabbi Segal will provide "off-
the cuff" glimpses into the light-
er side of a rabbi's life. Rabbi
Segal served as an Army Chap-
lain for three and one-half
years. During his chaplaincy
service, he worked with DP's in
Germany, France and Belgium.
He accepted the pulpit of the
Northwest Hebrew Congregation
in September of 1946 and has
been there since.
On the same program, Dave
Aaron, chairman, announced
that a musical rendition will be
presented by Cantor Nicholas
Fenakel and the Holiday Choir.

Dr. Henry Reichlin
Hashofar Guest April 30

Dr. Henry D. Reichlin, voice
teacher and lecturer, will be
presented at the next Hashofar
home musicale, Sunday evening,
April 30, at the home of Dr. and
Mrs. Samson Wittenberg, 2306
Oakman Blvd.
He will talk on the golden
Jewish voices of the past, with
illustrations by means of re-
cordings. Wyn Garden, soprano,
will be heard in Yiddish and
Hebrew songs, with Lillian Rob-
bons at the piano. Eugene
Franzblau will lead the com-
munity singing and refresh-
ments will be served.
