Amparo and Jose Iturbi
In Concert on April 13

AMPAKO AND JOSE ITURBI

A m p a r o Iturbi, the distin-
guished pianist who will appear
here on Thursday, April 13 at
Masonic Auditorium, is a pro-
duct of Valencia, Spain, of a
family where music was con-
sidered an integral part of the
cultural aspect of daily life. Like
her famous brother, Jose, who
will appear with her, she showed
early signs of a musical genius
which was carefully nurtured
by loving parents.
The busiest artist in America,
if not the world, her brother,
Jose Iturbi, is a personality of
temperament and charm—and a
great and exciting musician.
He is Spain's happiest contribu-
tion to the American scene.
