To Host Conclave

Xi Chapter of Wayne Univer-
sity announced that it will host
the central regional conclave of
Alpha Epsilon Pi, national so-
cial fraternity over the weekend
beginning Friday, April 14.
A series of business, meetings,
stags and an informal dance at
the Dexter-Davison branch of
the Jewish Center will be high-
lighted by playoffs for regional
sports trophys and a stag ban-
quet at the Wolverine Hotel Sun-
day afternoon, featuring several
outstanding Detroiters as guest
speakers.

Book Review, Election
At April 11 Meeting

The Career Group of the Na-
tional Council of Jewish Women
will meet at 8:15 p:m. Tuesday,
April 11, in Ginsburg Lounge,
Jewish Community C e n t e r,

The program of the evening
will feature a review of the book
"The Mature Mind" by Dr. Harry
Overstreet, to be given by Rabbi
Moses Lehrman of Cong. Bnai
Moshe.
All members are urgently re-
quested to attend this meeting,
since there will be an election
of officers for the coming year,
and discussion of the May din,
ner meeting and June dance.

Twenty days of concentrated solicitation among 5,000
members of the Junior Division of the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign will begin this Monday for the 400 division workers.
Leaders of the division have set the tone of the young
adults' drive, with 100 per cent increases over 1949 noted
in the executive committee's pledges.
$21,000 already has been
