Indianapolis Wedding
Of Interest in Detroit

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Ring of 3303 Clements will celebrate their
20th wedding anniversary on March 16.
Dr. and Mrs. Samuel J. Levin left March '7 for a two-week
vacation in Arizona and New Mexico.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goodman of 2669 Calvert celebrated
their 24th wedding anniversary March 7 with a family dinner.
Mrs. Irving L. Levine entertained at a luncheon Feb. 25
honoring her future sisters-in-law, bride-elects Constance LeBost
and Geraldine Kernerman.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brown of 16814 Lilac are spending a few
weeks at Los Angeles and Palm Springs, Calif., with their
daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Max Greenfield.
Prior to her wedding, Jan. 22, to Buddy Harris, the former
Eileen Kay was entertained at parties and luncheons given by
Mesdames H. J. Lee, L. Blair, J. Saperstein, A. Nickin, A. Silver-
man, H. Houseman, H. Lifton, Harry Lewis and Misses Esther
Gugel, Helen Weisman and Betty GQttleib.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gittleman, of Grand Rapids, are sailing
March 27 on the LaGuardia, 16r Israel. During the three month
trip they 'will also visit Italy, France and England, returning to
the U. S. on the Queen Mary.
Mrs. Ted Winshall and son, of Pennington Dr., will return to
their home March 10 after having spent the winter in Miami
Beach.
Mrs. Harry Klam and son of Brooklyn, N. Y., is spending a
month in Detroit with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Caplan of Pasadena
Ave.
Mrs. Lester Smith of Oak Dr. has returned from a 10-day
visit with her brother and sister-in-law in .Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Nate Shapero of Strathcona Dr: are spending
six weeks in Pallas Beach.
Mrs. Leon Shembeck of Monte Vista Ave. has returned from
a six weeks' visit with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Schiller,
in Tulsa, Okra.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Phillips of Fairfield Ave. are visiting in
Surfside, Miami Beach, where they are guests in the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Lewis of Detroit.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hinderstein of Fairfield Ave. have re-
turned from a Caribbean cruise on the S. S. America.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Rose of Fairfield Ave. have returned from
an extended European trip.
