Major Karni Praises
Maimonides Women's
Rehabilitation Project

Major Nachman Karni, of the
Israel Army, who visited De-
troit recently, praised the Israel
rehabilitation project of the
Women's Auxiliary of the Maim-
onides Medical Society.
Funds raised this year again
will be use to purchase artificial-
limbs and to rehabilitate wound-
ed Israel veterans, as well as to
provide medical scholarships to
needy medical students locally
and in Israel.
A special meeting of the Aux-
iliary has been called by Mrs.
I. Weisenthal, president, at the
Club Bali, at 12:30 p.m. Tues-
day, March 7, to coordinate
preparations for the luncheon
and fashion show to be held at
the Book-Cadillac March 22.
