Young Israel Lists
Coming Installation,
Two Purim Events
Rabbi Samuel H. Prero will be
officially installed as rabbi and
director of Young Israel of De-
troit at a public installation
dinner at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb.
26, at the Young Israel Youth
Center.
The installation committee
consists of David I. Berris, Mrs.
Solomon B. Cohen, Mrs. Joseph
Grossman, Dr. Harry Portnoy
and Irving W. Schlussel, chair-
man.
Young Israel's third annual
Purim carnival, sponsored joint-
ly by the Women's League and
the Young Adults, will be held
Saturday evening, March 11, at
the Youth Center.
The committee in charge in-
cludes Mrs. Solomon N. Cohen,
Mrs. Emil Spilman, Mrs. Irving
W. Schlussel, Mrs. Seymour Ri-
biat, Mrs. Hillel L. AbraMs and
Joseph Weinman.
The annual Purim party for
members • of Young Israel's
youth clubs will be held at 2:30
p.m., Sunday, March 5, in the
auditorium of the Youth Cen-
ter. The Batya Girl's Group will
present a Purim play.. Israel
movies will be shown, and a
magician will perform.
ROSNER FAMILY CLUB will
meet Sunday, Feb. 26, at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis
